After the Pakistan A team beat Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the Emerging Asia Cup, national team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi along with teammate Naseem Shah joined the team in Colombo to celebrate the victory on Friday.
The players of the senior men’s team welcomed the A team at the hotel after qualifying for the final of the Asian competition.
In the video of the celebration shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on social media, Shaheen and Naseem can be seen cutting the cake along with the emerging team.

The Men in Green will take on the winner of the other semi-final between India A and Bangladesh A.
Chasing a target of 323, the home team was bowled out for 262 in 45.4 overs.
Fast bowler Arshad Iqbal was the bowler of choice for Pakistan with figures of 5–37.
For the winning team, Mubasir Khan and Sufiyan Mukim took two wickets each.
Sahan Arachige and Avishka Fernando scored 97 for Sri Lanka but it was not enough to secure victory for their team.
Earlier, half-centuries from Omair Bin Yusuf and skipper Mohammad Haris helped Pakistan A post 322 runs.
