QUETTA: At least two people were injured after an explosion took place on Quetta’s Moti Ram Road, police and rescue officials said on Thursday.

Fighters were called in as an inferno erupted in a shop situated in the area following the explosion, a rescue official said.

The police said the nature of the blast is being ascertained.

The injured of the blast were shifted to the Civil hospital in the provincial capital.

The paramilitary forces have also cordoned off the area.
